Based in Shropshire, my professional background is a varied one - from press and PR to social research. As a photographer and writer I’ve documented people and places across Europe, North America and the Middle East. I got bitten by the travel bug several years ago following a trip to the States and over time began to renew a longstanding interest in documentary and street photography.

My approach to image-making - be it portraiture or reportage - rests on simple observation. I’m intrigued by people, by their surroundings, by the quirks of everyday life - and how memory and the passage of time can resonate through the evocative power of a photograph.
